Art for a better
world

What is this? In this category I have created a touching painting. Last year in 2022 “somethings” has been happening which is still not over yet. Over a year later and nothing has changed for the better.

Back in the day as we all went to school, we learnt about the past. The past called history, history called a misery. We though that the past stays in the past and why we have to learn about it. Now the past is the present. But just like Mahatma Ghandi taught, it’s so true that history doesn’t teach us anything because MANkind repeats the same stuff some-when in time. Shocking is the upgrade of destruction through weapons developed by intelligence. Looking at it more closely you realize that it isn’t intelligent at all. Why? Since when is destruction smart? Is it power?

In this everyday madness for people living in this destructive environment, way too much blood is flowing. Pure and innocent, independent from age. One specific creature is responsible for all of this. Additionally every single person on the side of this creature are ignorant marionettes - just like the leader is. Everlasting condition of their “nature”. Yes, creature and not human.

Fresh blood, fresh red shades. Stones, shot pellets, dirt from the ground inside wounds, bodies. Everywhere. Exactly this is what was visible during the development process.

Food for thought

I always use newspaper to protect other surfaces from my wet colors. So as my painting was laying there I all of a sudden saw words jumping to my eyes standing in an article. Translating the two words it says “with pleasure” which is reinforcing the meaning of it. For this reason this kind of storytelling is so important to me for you.

In my personal studio I could let my emotions flow through abstract art with acrylic colors and a wanna-be secret ingredient. I also wanna let your fantasy flow freely. What do you see? What are the colors standing for? What embodies the leter “P”? Is it power or … Or just both? Is there more behind it? It is what you are feeling and see. Let me know about it. Why? With you the artwork is completed. An artwork without you is like the arth without any oxygene.

Then it was dry. And now?

.jumble of thoughts.

Right before adding yellow and blue I was staring at my painting the way it looked. Time wasn’t important. There i was just sitting. What happned next ….. I felt brutality. I saw old and fresh blood. Anger. Bravery. Should I add something or not? Do I really wanna add yellow and blue? I’m not sure. But wait, luckily I have captured plenty of images and videos holding on to the red phase. Yes, I’m leaving space for blood. So close and yet so far.

A few layers of yellow followed. Step by step each phase was proccessed. Every single layer opened up which was within me. Do you see how it gets visible?

You can deepen this brief insight on my YouTube channel as soon as I have oploaded the whole process to visualze the art journey with you. It will take some time because theres so much to do. Essentially I have to complete prjects step by step and not everything at the same time. There’s no hurry but patience.

It’s so interesting to hold onto details to look at it more closely. For example there could be yellow mountains and hills. This reminds me of my childhood being a pre-schooler when a special story was topic. In this story everything was yellow. Don’t remember much but that the whole world was yellow impressed me so much that I remember it until today. Do you know this story?

So I left some space free. Like a crack which you have to see. Can’t ignore. Never allowed to be forgotten. You have to learn from it. Not tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow, not somwhen in future. No! It has to be NOW. Now and now!

Can you imagine now that this artwork fits to the main topic “making the world a better place through art”? It has to crowl into your unconciousness to be there, in order to being aware of the suffering so that no generation will pass it on- Only after you really understand it and not just see it, it will be over.

How should I name this art piece? Definitely not without any title. Do you have an idea?
